In the speech of the newly promoted Commodore Tejada, he said; “As I take pride in this promotion, I am humbled by the fact that no matter how hard I have worked for the past 32 years of my military service, I could never be where I am today without the blessing of our almighty God and the goodness of my fellowmen. I assure everyone that this promotion will serve as another inspiration for me to strive more and work harder for the good of the country, people and organization.”

On the other hand, Rear Admiral Bernardino said that promotion is a continuing challenge and a healthy challenge. It is a challenge that brings out the best in us. Let us therefore never seize to do better every day.
