Masbate - Philippine Navy Naval Task Group – Masbate (NTG-M) leads Navy search and rescue operations for the then missing piper plane of the late Secretary Jessie Robredo of DILG. The NTG-M remained composed of BRP Simeon Castro (PG374), BRP Hilario Ruiz (PG 378), BRP Carlos Albert (PG 375) and a diesel fast craft (DF 33), (2) Navy Islander Aircraft - Islander 312 and 311, a BO 105 helicopter, and two (2) Navy Special Operations Group diving teams with equipped with Trimix diving capability. This contingent is a combined augmentation from the Naval Forces Southern Luzon, the Naval Forces Central, and the Fleet-Marine Ready Force. Shown in top and middle photos are Philippine Navy Flag Officer In Command (FOIC, PN), Vice Admiral Alexander P Pama (in khaki uniform and black ball cap, right) together with the Command Team of Task Force “Kalihim” headed by the Secretary of National Defense Voltaire T Gazmin (center, seated) and the Chief of Staff AFP General Jessie Dellosa and Philippine Coast Guard Commandant Vice Admiral Edmund C Tan. Bottom photo shows the task force Command Team with the FOIC, PN (left), the CSAFP (right), PCG Commandant (2nd from right) and local volunteers (3rd and 4th from right) during a review of the crash site and debris field during the height of SAR operations.
